Meet your Interpreter

My name is Allie Friedrichsen and I have lived in Southern California for most of my life. I attended the local K-12 system as well as the nearby community college. In my free time I like to workout, enjoy music, and crochet

I look to bridge gaps, communication, and connection between signing and non-signing communities. I try to look out for learning, and mentoring opportunities as well as feedback from colleagues and clients. I go into every interpreting assignment with a dDeaf centered approach and a “be teachable” mindset.

I have interpreted musicals and spent 1 academic year interpreting in a post-secondary setting. I look forward to more performing arts interpreting opportunities like plays, musicals, concerts, and other platform interpreting!

In this "about" photo, Allie is wearing a ponytail with her hair draped in front of her body. She is wearing a black shirt and is smiling in front of a blue sky.
